The two rivers (nahrain) are historic icons of 'the land between the two rivers' that is Iraqi.

The dawning sun represents a bright Future for Iraq.

The white bird symbolizes the peace which will serve as the Foundation for a prosperous Iraq.

We intentionally choose colors that are not associated with national or religious icons.
